Hello Group,

Does anyone have a functioning Delay-Off Timer they would be willing to share?

I'm in need of keeping an output alive - 60 seconds - after the rest of the system is off.

Kind Regards,

Since this is not native to MoTeC PDMs you will need to use additonal input/output resources to make this work. You can do this with a time based relay, this is ideal as you could only need one additional input and no additional outputs. This should be pretty self explaitory as for wiring it to the 12v sw input of the PDM. The time delay potentiometer will be adjusted to the desired time delay.

Additionally, you might need to splice the relay's input to an additional input pin of the PDM. Ideally, this is a SW-to-ground trigger. This will allow you to monitor the ignition switch status. You can start a count down timer or trigger your outputs On/Off on the falling edge of this input.

If you need control over the shutdown timer, you will need to use at least one input and one output. You will need to wire in 1-2 additional relays. A lot of this will depend on the actual installation of your isolator, keypad, traditional ignition switch, and how you intend them to function. If you can give a brief explanation of your components and intended sequences, I can give you suggestions on possible options.
