I know the course goes over performance diesel tuning, but what about customers who don't want huge power with stock setups? How would I start just doing fuel economy or low power towing/daily driving tuning? Timing, less fueling, More/less boost? Still new to this stuff and don't want to put customer trucks in limp mode...
Any of the methods from the lessons on building 20% uprate tunes can be rescaled to make 5 or 10% power over stock or power under stock even if you're interested. There's no secret recipe for keeping the power level at stock and simply adding timing or boost to a factory tune to improve fuel mileage.
