MAF sensor on golf mk5 1.9 TDI BKC engine

I want to ask something. I have golf mk5 1.9 TDI and my MAF sensor is defective. Am i able to reflash my ECU and make my ECU to not depend from the MAF sensor and remove it from my engine.

While it's likely possible to tune your MAF out the engine logic, the result would likely be a very smokey car that would be quite unpleasant to drive. For a test you could find find the MAF sensor scale table and set the whole table to it's max limit, then disable the diagnostic trouble code. I only recommend this for a brief test, it will clearly show you how useful 'lambda limits' can be.
