So I’m a little confused about which head to use do a VE conversion.

To explain, I don’t care about top end HP, what I care about to torque.

From my reading the most common heads are P11 and P12. The big difference seems to be that the P12 flows better but the P11 has dual vtec actuators, which I’m thinking may help with bottom end power?

also I have been searching for a SR16VE head (not sure what casting they are) but have been told these could be a good option for me.

I have been searching for a head, but no luck (unless I want to spend $4k NZD).

Any thoughts? (Or is that just what they cost now?)
