Finally got back the block frm the machine shop and getting some time to work on the engine. Generally ik that the cylinder shouldnt be tapered but checking the ring end gap up to as to the underside of the bore gives me a few thousandths smaller. Would thia negatively harm my build or should be good?

You may still find that there is some amount of taper in a block after the bores are honed. This shouldn't be sufficient to adversely affect your ring end gap but if in doubt it would be prudent to increase your gap by 1-2 thou.

Thanks i did...
