I'm rebuilding my rb26 myself this time round so learning with the machine shop giving me some guidance. I have a set of bearings in and arp studs and torqued crank down with plastiguage after we did some initial measurements.

From front of engine clearances are in thou 1. 5 / 1. 5 or less / 1. 5 / 2 / 1. 5 or less / 1. 75 or more / 1. 75 or more

The more or less is when it's just a smidgen bigger or smaller than the reference paper shows.

From what I have read here 2 to 2. 5 is my goal?

Will be running an external dry sump system.

Also what is the recommended rod bearing clearance?
