Laptop Suggestions

Hey guys I'm sure this has been covered to an extent but I'm looking for laptop suggestions for my new data analysis job. Previously I had been using a Dell Inspiron, its far too big and heavy it also has a very weak screen for outside. Ill be using VBOX and Motec softwares along with other random things like windarab etc..

What do you guys suggest for a laptop? Screen visibility outside is a big factor. Feel free to list laptops under any budget as I don't want to go cheap on this as its for work and will be using it basically everyday.

A Inspiron is exactly what I use. I don't use mine too much outside but we do use the Surface laptops that we have outside and they seem to do alright. I'm not sure what kind of specs you need but I know you can get them fairly high specd. Also not sure of battery life on either of these as we are in a shop environment and so they are almost always plugged in. The shop I used work at used toughbooks but those are fairly bulky. I've been looking at the Framework laptops as a replacement for the Dell that I currently use, other than outdoor screen viewing they appear to be solid units.

+1 for toughbooks, I'm positive that I would've gone through a couple laptops by now if I didn't have this thing.
