Hi, i'm working on a BED501 for Alpine A110 and i want to increase the rail pressure. I have 2 mappacks but i can increase the rail pressure asked by the but the real pressure stay at 200bar when i see the ecu asked for 220 bar.

I think i miss a single pressure limit or maybe we can change a factor as a "cheat".

Someone is familiar with this ecu ?

thanks a lot

hello,

I don't have any specific experience of that application but you are quite right it sounds like a limit/protection strategy running in the background or the practical mechanical limit of the fuel system.

A way to 'cheat' this would be to either rescale the sensor or simulate the voltage so the ECU thinks its always got 180-200bar then manually open loop control the fuel pressure.

regards,

Scott

hello and thanks for the answer. Yes it can be a way to cheat with that
