Hi everyone, I want to clearly understand the correct workflow regarding definition files. When I read an ECU using tools like PCMFlash, KESS, or KTAG, I get a raw BIN/HEX file. Do I always need a definition file (XDF, XML, DAMOS/A2L) to correctly view and modify the maps, and how do experienced tuners usually obtain the correct and reliable definitions for a specific ECU and software version? Also, for software like UP-Rev or similar, are definition files built into the program or handled internally, and where is the most trusted place to get accurate definitions without risking incorrect calibration and if i read a car using pcm flash or another tool and i want to use a winolse or ecu flash or tuner pro how to start and how to get definition file
