I'm new to tuning and new to the forum. So far, this has been a very informative set of courses, so thank you for providing them.

I'm looking at the tune listed in the video for the GM-L98-HS108D Cam. In the video, it shows opening the Operating System tab and applying (or showing applied, for the speed density patch) the patch. When I open the OS tab, I see nothing. I'm using the latest version of HP Tuner.

Is there something I'm missing? Does anybody know why the information isn't showing as seen in the video?

You haven't mentioned the specific ECM that you're personally tuning? Is your vehicle the same exactly as the GM L98 we used? In some cases you may not have the ability to apply an SD patch.

I was following along in the course, using the tune supplied for the course opened in HP Tuner. I also downloaded a stock tune from the HP Tuner for comparison so I could alter the stock tune as I went along through the course. Neither had the patch in it.

wondering if you ever found out what was happening I've encountered this exact problem

In my case, I wasn’t in "advanced" view in HP Tuners. This hid all kinds of things in every tune I opened.

Research has shown that in some cases (based on make/model/year of the vehicle) the patch just isn't available for that particular vehicle.
