Hi Andrew,

This is Amer, thank you for the worked example was really helpful.

I have a theory and a question in my mind I need you thoughts, please.

1- I wish we could see the torque curve, not just HP. Many tuners talk about gaining low and midrange torque through VCT tuning.

2- I know this is a pushrod engine, but I believe the 5.7 HEMI has some intake VCT control at WOT. In VCM Editor, I see a table called “WOT Desired Angle Base” under the Intake Camshaft section. Since it's a single cam, I assume this changes the whole cam angle, is that right?

3- Do changes to that table actually help improve torque in the low and mid RPM range? And if so, would tuning that be a good next step after dialing in fueling and ignition timing?

Thanks again for your time!

Amer
