This may be a stupid question but I was wondering if the knock detectors mentioned in the class will work well on diesel trucks such as a Duramax or a Cummins since these engines have much more noise than smaller car engines?
A knock sensor isn't really applicable to a diesel engine since they are a compression ignition engine where there is no spark event.
Thank you Andre. I didn't think it would be applicable but just wanted to be sure
