I have my base timing at idle is 14 degrees and when I hit the gas it jumps to 28 and all in advance by 2500 rpm is 30 degress. my question is should I blend it or smooth it to 30 degrees instead of going right to 30. My last question would be how would I verify false knock. ""

ECU would interpolate ignition timing values in the transition cells so you do not need to worry about smoothing it.

The felse knock would not react on ignition timing changes while real knock would go away as you retard ignition timing.

Thank you so much
