How important is proper ackerman on a road course car. I am doing a swap on a AW11 mr2 with MR2 Spyder knuckles and doing so will give me poor ackerman and I hear people talk about how this will ruin the car and the like. However this set up will be very similar to any front steer car, BMW E36/46, C6 Vet, and MK2 MK3 MR2, Based on my understanding of ackerman these cars also don't have it set up right since they cant get there outer tie rod far enough out. Nobody complains about those cars though. Am I miss understanding how all this works? or do those cars just take the hit of poor ackerman. Info how how front steer cars work around this and if the ackerman is even something to worry about would be very helpful.
I also attached a screen grab of fusion 360 with both knuckles in place. Red is the swap, and grey is the old setup. For reference the new mount is ~80MM closer the the wheel then the original set up
