Hi all

I watched this video for ride height Procedures,

my question is, what to do when my coilovers does not have lower collar for adjustment and the wheel rapping the guard?

Can adjustable spring perches be fitted?

Are you trying to raise the suspension? If so try getting stiffer (or longer unloaded length) springs. You could also fabricate some spacers to go above or below the springs (probably machine something from steel or aluminum).

If you are trying to lower the car, the old-school way (50 years ago) we lowered cars was to cut the springs. That resulted in a lower ride height, and a stiffer springs. We were not adjusting the ride height to corner balance the car however -- in fact we never even weighed the cars.

i have Xida coilovers and i am considering to set the ride height the way this video show's but xidas does not have adjustment at the lower body and what to do if the wheel rapping the guard? i am just asking, anyway supermiata says "Length is optimized for 4~5″ pinch weld heights" which i think it will be ok.

i need to use my dumpers, 1/3 for rebound and 2/3 for compression like the video said.

So what is the correct way to measure the ride height in this situation ?

Also what happen when I corner weight the car?

Sorry, but I don't understand the phrase "wheel rapping the guard". If I interpret this as wheel/tire is contacting the fender (or wheel well), then this is sounds like you have the car too low for the size tires you have and want to raise it to increase clearance.

My questions are based from the module (Initial Setup and Ride Height Procedures) , "wheel rapping the guard" yes the tire is contacting the inside of the fender, the problem is not this, i know i have to raise the car.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
