In this unit the instructor mentioned software to help determine this. What software is the best and least expensive respectively to accomplish this?
Hi, I think this was more of a broad comment regarding chassis analysis software in general. There are many packages out there to model everything from basic kinematics to laptime simulation it just depends on budget and what features you need. Personally as I’m more bike focussed now I use Zero Chassis. It worth doing the research to see which package works best for you since they’re not all equal and work on different payment methods, some charge per model, some a subscription and some do an all access option for thousands. It depends on what you want to do with it, sometimes a simple spreadsheet can tell you all you need to know.
