Hello,

I've recently converted a carburetor to Aces EFI killshot 2 installed on a 355 cubic inch small block chevrolet with an msd 6425 ignition box, msd 8253 coil, msd 8572 distributor. The engine has an edelbrock rpm intake with aluminum heads that have 200cc intake runners. The exhaust headers have 1.875" primaries and dump into 4" collectors with 4" side pipes. The distributor is locked out and controlled by the aces efi ecu. I'm running a comp cams camshaft with the following specifications:

gross intake lift .469" Gross exhaust lift .463" Intake duration 260 degrees Exhaust duration 272 degrees intake duration at .050" is 216 degrees exhaust duration at .050" is 223 degrees lobe separation is 113 degrees

I've the engine running and driving however, there's a random pop out the exhaust about 25 seconds after startup. Once the engine warms up a bit, the popping goes away. What could be causing this and how do I remedy it? Thanks!

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
