I am currently using the Innovate LM-2 wideband controller connected to HP Tuners MPVI interface. The reading from the HP Tuners Scanner is very noisy while the reading on the LM-2 display is fairly consistant. I have read about others having issues with analog output signal noise, but have not come across a fix for this issue. Are there any suggestions on how to fix this concern?

There's a couple of things you can try. First of all in the LM Programmer software you can adjust the response rate between instant, 1/12th, 1/6th or 1/3 of a second. I generally set the rate to 1/12th of a second. Next in the VCM Scanner software you can filter the input to remove the noise. Generally you want the least amount of filtering possible that still results in a smooth and useable signal.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
