So I did not see a thread started for this webinar yet, so I will start one.

So my question is based on how you have described the CAN bus wiring, do you know then what is the point of the Haltech CAN hub?

Is it only to provide simple addition of devices to the CAN bus after the fact, or do you know if there are other uses it has?

Do other manufactures have something similar to the Haltech CAN hub as either an option of requirement?

Thanks,

adam

It's all about making life easy for the end user. Most people don't want to construct their own CAN bus with the appropriate terminating resistors and nodes in the right places. The Haltech CAN hub allows quick and easy connection of any of their CAN devices using the appropriate cable - The white cables have no term resistor while the black cables do.

Racepak have a similar approach with the way their devices can be connected together.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
