00:00 - Adam has asked, how much does balancing affect the reliability of a motor? It's really hard for me to give you any firm numbers around this because it's going to depend on the initial balance of the factory engine.
00:14 It's also going to depend on what we're actually doing with the engine.
00:18 But essentially anything that reduces the harmonics or vibrations in the engine is going to be a benefit for engine reliability and engine life expectancy.

00:31 We've seen this from the engines that we've personally built where we've balanced them and when we spend the time and get that balance as close as we can, the engine physically feels very very smooth and it revs nice and freely.
00:44 That's the sort of results that we're likely to get from a well balanced engine but again in the aftermarket we are often also performing fairly regular maintenance and rebuilds so a little hard to put numbers around that.
