What's Wrong Here? | Testing Track Performance [FREE LESSON]

Analysing the performance of your vehicle is a critical step when it comes to corner weighting or setup adjustments, but what are some of the key areas you should focus on to check where your car is at?

This is one module from a full course that covers the corner weighting process from start to finish.

In this lesson which is taken from the Practical Corner Weighting course, Andre will cover some of the things he checks at his local track, Highlands Motorsport Park. After this step you will assess your vehicles set up and adjust accordingly, being mindful that you're not trying to fix oversteer or understeer issues that are actually driver induced handling errors.

For this test we're going to use a GG Diagram aka Traction Circle to also help give us an indication if the car is favouring one side or end over the other.

Note any testing should be started at a slow speed while you work up to full pace.
