There are a number of AFR/CANBus gauges now available. Perfect tuning, BTI, Gaugeart, Plex USDM, CANChecked MFD15, etc.
Looking at them on the inner-webs, it appears they are all the same gauge, just different labeling. Clearly, someone is private-labeling for the others.
Does anyone know who is the parent/source/designer of the gauge?
No, all of those you have listed are designed/manufactured by those specific companies independently from each other and they are all quite different in terms of capability and functionality.
Possibly where your confusuion comes from is Gaugeart and CANchecked do also make re-branded versions of their gauges for other companies - For example Haltech and Link sell branded versions of the GaugeArt gauge, ECU master sell a branded version of CANchecked etc.
