Hi guys
Half way through your canbus course and I love it! Gutted I'm guna miss out on the VIP discounted rate - guna be a while before my finances facilitate it unfortunately :'D
My query is if I put a y connection or splitter on the obd2 port and I use a known OBD2 adapter to request a diagnostic parameter would I be able to see that ID being sent from the node to the known OBD2 adapter from the other obd2 port?
Basically Im just messing around for fun and want to make a dial so I can use wifi for my car play but still see a few useful data metrics like timing corrections. I feel like timing corrections would be hard to manipulate to expose itself/potentially dangerous? I have a bmw n55 and I have mhd. I was hoping to ping the variable I want with MHD and hopefully see what the address comes back as through the other OBD2 port? Or could I do the same thing but with a sniffer tool ? Or have I massively misunderstood? :D
