I want to make a burble tune for my 2017 Subaru wrx/sti. Is retarding ignition on deceleration safe for the motor?

Isn't it the turbo that would suffer ? Thats what i read, i am not sure though.

Burbles are little explosions taking place inside of exhaust manifold instead of combustion chamber because of very retarded ignition timing. Every explosion produces very high pressure pulse along with high temperature and that is what turbo faces since it it vey close to explosion source. That puts extra load on wheel, shaft, bearings which does not help to maintain good mechanical condition of turbocharger... So it is a toy for joy but you are gonna have to pay for it later on- there is no free lunch here unfortunately...
