Hello,

I'm tuning an Integra with a k24 motor swap using the Honda DC5 Base map on a Haltech elite 1500. The trigger system is setup using the Honda k20a dc5 selection and I changed the engine capacity and injector information to match the k24 capacity and the injector data.

The car start up and seems to run fine but I am getting what looks like an error because it is highlighted red and says home trigger not supported: extra tooth. I'm not getting any trigger errors or DTC's.

I tried looking this up and have seen mixed information online with some people saying that this is normal and to ignore it without explanation as to why. Others say that it could be that the trigger plate is installed backwards or the timing could be out 180 degrees. I took the valve cover off and verified that the trigger plate was installed correctly and then verified that the timing was correct as well and everything was correct. I also looked at it using the oscilloscope to verify signal strength and was able to clearly see 4+1 teeth which is what the vehicle is supposed to have.

Has anyone else experienced this or know if its normal for k series engines and if so why?
