When attempting to find someone willing to tune my car which exceeded known limits, I ran into someone that said, "...TB size would negatively effect the VE of the intake tract. This will make it hard to tune and probably lose power".
Now, my understanding with a TVS blower is, the more surface area of the rotor faces exposed, the better. I then set out to create the first stock blower to be able to achieve over 30psi. I succeeded in that goal by replacing the 70-72mm(?) TB, with a 90mm. I cut off the stock TB flange and welded on a 90mm flange to match it. I went with the 90mm because it was going to drastically reduce the vacuum at 100% throttle close to 0.
My question; is my goal of reducing the inlet vacuum the wrong way to approach maximizing VE on this setup?
