Hi I will be running a N/A 4 cyl 1600cc Toyota 4AGE that is running 172 duration cams ported head fuel pressure boost and a tuneable piggy back ecu on the factory one free flow exhaust and induction kit I estimate the engine will be about 160bhp what would be the best size injectors to run this power the engine in std form is 119bhp and runs factory 186cc for 4 injectors the supercharged version of this engine the 4AGZE runs around 160bhp and the injectors are 360cc would these be over kill with my engine been N/A much appreciated with any advice

You should have no problem running 360cc injectors, the ECU tuning can usually deal with larger injectors as long as it has decent timer resolution. And all the ECU's made in the last 30 years have decent resolution.

What would you say is the correct size for 160 bhp N/A when I have look people are saying 280cc to 350cc what’s your thoughts

You could get by with as low as 250cc/min, but you could use 4 times that size as well (so 1000cc/min). So I would like to have some margin for future upgrades -- that's why I think your 360 - 440cc/min would be a good choice.

Choosing injectors sold as a flow matched set, that provide detailed injector data for your ECU would be the ideal solution.

I ran 440CC upper and 260CC lower injectors on my 235 UK BHP 147ft lb 4AGE. This have a peak duty cycle of around 80%...perfect. I really wouldn't bother going above 300CC unless you plan significant upgrades in the future, you will be wasting scope for fine tuning.

What's the fuel pressure boost you mentioned? This will affect the flow of the pump and injectors.

The 360cc injectors will likely be enough if you are using the OEM 4AGZE injectors, but modern 440cc bosch injectors will likely be more readily available and reliable as long as you aren't buying cheap ones off of eBay.

What piggyback system are you running?
