He has a 2004 chevy 5.3 1500. It has a sloppy mechanics stage 2 camshaft and rest is stock. The truck was a v6 and swapped to a 5.3, it is using the po1 pcm. I have the truck running ok but their is areas that needs help and i keep fighting myself with this tune for some reason and would like extra set of eyes, when cold you have to hit throttle so it will start and sometimes you have to hold throttle to get it to stay running but then its fine. fires up when warm or hot but the rpms dip way down to 400 and then after about 10 to 20 seconds it will stabilize and runs fine, also when putting it in gear it lunges forward and when letting off gas or just tapping the gas it stays high in rpm and will continue to pick up speed. i have adjusted throttle cracker and then decay have adjusted idle advance spark in park and neutral and always have same issue, when i try to fix spark advance and take timing down to say 16 and 17 at 800 rpm and 1200 rpm then the curve is way off and i am overlooking something but not seeing it, any advice or help would be appreciated
