Hello everyone so I purchased the wiring fund and club level wiring programs and successfully built a very nice harness. The last connector I’m not sure of is the Distributor with the trigger wires from the link pre made harness. I I’ve researched this on forums, but everyone says something differently so I’m trying to get an exact answer. my distributor has four pins a G- negative reluctor, NE which states it’s for 24 tooth crank trigger, G1 which is a 4 tooth trigger, and a G2 pin which is Cam pulse. From what I found online, the G- goes to the white wire on the link harness, which is spliced together with the other shielded trigger wire and pinned to sensor ground shielded. NE which is the 24 tooth trigger goes to the red trigger one wire. G1 is not used and G2 connects to trigger two black wire. I’m running R 35 COP’s with my set up so I just need this wired as a CAS. Also on the shielded wires, there’s like some foil and some silver wire strand in between the wires; none of the shielding ground gets connected on the connector side of the wire harness like knock sensor wiring connected just on the ecu side correct. I found this diagram on one of the old forums from back in the day posted by Adam, but I’m not sure if the connections are correct and I’m not sure if this is a silver top or black top distributor. I’m using a black top thanks for your time.
