Guys, I'm having a hard time locating a good, cheap extraction tool for the AMP Superseal connectors
I am in the United States and there are a multitude of kits on Amazon but mixed and not imbuing the confidence I need to purchase.
Anyone here have any suggestions?
I thought AMP Superseal had a simple lock, so they don't require any special tools to remove terminals. Can you post a picture of the exact connector you are having trouble with?
The 26 / 34 pin connectors require you to press the large white tab to release the locks on all terminals. The smaller connectors usually have a red wedge-locking pieces, that you pry up and can either remove the pins, or have access to the locking tabs. A small "pokey" tools is useful sometimes. Here is one example:

I am not actually having a problem yet. I did have problem with the OEM header but I'm going to have to go all in anyway so I was able to give up on salvaging those pins.
Since I had a problem with the OEM pin extraction, I wanted to get ahead of any error I might make.
I will be back on it sometime Tuesday. I already have a good "pokey" type tool and I have some cavity plugs that should be getting there about the same time that I do. With due caution, perhaps there will not need to be any pin extraction 👍🏻
And maybe I can make some smoke 🤘🏼
