Hi

I builded a V8 LS3 turbo engine

And i started wiring the engine wasted spark

Firing order 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3

I wired the coils as (1-6)(8-5)(7-4)(2-3)

Should i wire the injectors the same as the coils wired ??

2nd

How can i wire the knovk sensor

Do i need a module or i can directly wire it to the ECU

Note that the LS knock sensor have 1 wire only

Your support is highly appreciated

Hi Hisham, you haven't specifically mentioned which link ECU you have fitted to the engine. If possible I'd always recommend wiring for sequential fuel injection as this will give you better control of the fuel delivery and this in particular makes a noticeable difference to the idle quality. If you are running batch fire injection because your ECU doesn't offer 8 injector outputs then here's a great video from Andy at Adaptronic about the correct method of pairing them - [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlWP9_HnJVY]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlWP9_HnJVY

The knock sensor wiring is specified in the Link ECU manual. There is a dedicated knock sensor input on the ECU which should be wired to the knock sensor. The stock knock sensor is grounded through the body to the engine but the shield needs to be grounded at the ECU. I personally prefer swapping these sensors out for bosch 2-wire wideband sensors as I've had trouble with the single wire sensors on a previous aftermarket ECU installation.
