Hi!

I have a question related to the Ecumaster Emu Black ECU. I ran into a problem whilst wiring planning, that there are not enough analog inputs for simultaneous connection of basic sensors, and sensors responsible for the DBW operation. All analog inputs are occupied by TPS1, TPS2, EOT, EOP EFP, and MAP signals. PPS1 connects to "TPS In" input on Emu Black. But for PPS2 there are no more free inputs, although I have free inputs EGT1 and EGT2 that are not used. Is there any solution for my problem without using an expansion board like "CAN Switch Board"? I would not like to use it for the sake of only one analog input yet.

I saw the "Use EGT#1 as CLT sensor" option in the "Temperature -> Parameters" configuration window, but I didn't quite understand what is it for, since the instructions do not cover this. Maybe it's possible to use EGT inputs as EOT signal input, for example?

Thanks for any advice!

Answer from Ecumaster tech support:

If You run out of input resources there is nothing You can do. EGT as a CLT is dedicated for air-cooled engines when EGT sensor is used.

Due do hardware differences, there is no option to use analogue sensors with EGT input. All You can do is to expand inputs amount with Can switchboard.
