Hello, first time posting here (fingers crossed I’m posting in the correct category). Got a 2007 scion TC that I tossed a turbo in.
Installed a boomslang piggy-back harness and a haltec elite 1500. Double checked wiring pin outs in the 1500 twice to make sure, loaded the base map into it and whatnot.
Currently soon as I get to cranking the car I get “DBW” calibration errors. I can cycle the ignition key and ecu goes back to “dbw calibrated”. I can see cranking rpm on the NSP software as well. the trigger system is listed in the software “2az-fe” to which I have loaded into the ecu.
I am also not getting spark at the coils.
I did remove all aftermarket wiring/computers and plugged the engine harness into the factory computer and the car started right up and idled. Curious if anyone would have an ideas to try?
Hey mate,
Open the DBW calibration or a window to view signal inputs and actuate the throttle with your foot manually to check if it's actually calibrated properly, I've had base maps with ECUs load up with calibrations off/not correct in the past.
Thank you for the reply! Would that stop the 1500 from sending signal to the ignition coils? I’ll check that once I get back to my shop
