i read in some forum about polarity of honda distributor is that the oem signal is going negative when it see the edge(sensor pside is positive polarity ,m side is negative) but in link plug-in ecu they swap the sensor polarity (p side(-), m side(+)).so in link ecu, the m side would wire to trig1or2 and m side wire to gnd out. so my question is does this apply to other ecu like motec and what the reason why we need to swap the polarity of the vr sensor and why cant we just change trigger edge(falling,rising) in the software instead
