Hi HP Academy Fam!,

I'm working on a project of installing a 450 fueltech ECU to manage my 1NZ motor while maintaining the factory ECU to operate the remaining auxiliaries of the car.

Unfortunately, my auto tech is unable to get the crank signal to function properly between both ECU, and I'm of the opinion that the issue being experience is a wiring challenge.

Is there a standard wiring procedure to share the crank and cam signal between both ECU?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I would add a separate crank sensor -- don't try to share signals between two ECUs.

Thanks for your response David.

The engine block is only equip with one crank sensor.

Are you recommending that I modify the block to support another crank sensor?

If the block (or sensor mount) can be modified easily, then do that. Of perhaps you mount another trigger wheel / sensor mount using the front pulley or flywheel.

Ok noted. Let me check to determine the possibility of having a modification done.

Thanks for the support thus far.
