Looking at pinouts for Aim Data loggers, I see the subject acronyms, but don't understand what they mean. Please explain these points.

Thanks!

Good question, especially as there is sometimes differing acronyms between different manufacturers.

I had a quick look for something, but couldn't find anything useful - maybe others can help?

As a long time AiM dealer, I think these are the meanings:

Vb, Vbatt (Battery Voltage - usually to power the device)

Vref (Reference Voltage (4.5V in very old mychron systems, 5V for the last 15-20 years or so)

Vext (External Voltage -- something the device will use to charge if available)

Vbout (Battery Voltage provided for use by another device -- may not power this device).

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
