Resleeving this harness for a SeaDoo boat and I cannot find these pins. I think they may be Molex. Any help on a part number or link to the pins would be amazing!

Attached are pictures of the connector and pins.

Often you can get pigtails for factory harnesses from the parts department at the dealer. A good place to look for many common connectors used on engines is Ballenger Motorsports

For example, they list these connectors as compatible for some Seadoo coils:

https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/advanced_search_result.php?x=0&y=0&search_in_description=1&keywords=seadoo

I would want just the pins and I don't think the dealer would have that info, usually they only sell/have info on the harness itself.

A good start would be to post the pictures.

Thought I posted them on the original post, they might not upload from my phone. Let me post them from my desktop later.

Trying to send attached files. Not sure if they are posting. They are in JPEG format.

Hi,

It looks like a Molex micro fit/jnr fit connector but they’re not micro fit terminals…

what does the connector go into, another flying lead or potted header? Anyway to upgrade to a DTM, Amphenol etc?

I wish it was possible, however this and a few other pigtails on the harness go into OEM gauges for the dash that are soldered pins for the gauges themselves so not swappable.

And to confirm they're not a Molex 0.093s or 0.062s correct?

Here are the various Molex 0.093 and 0.062 terminals I have in my box. None of yours look like these:""

Any other ideas what they could be? Or are they maybe proprietary?

I would start with the Molex catalog. Looking on this page, I found this which looks like your connector -- there are different versions with different shapes/keying you might want to check out.

I see. In the past when I couldn't identify connectors/terminals or came across obsolete kit (You would be surprised how many times this happens in powersports) I have soldered my own fly-away leads direct to the pins then potted it with something like Resin Tech RT125 allowing me to fit whatever connector i needed to. This is pretty much standard practice for motorsport spec harnessing where we tend to use ASL type connectors. the HPA Motorsport Wiring course covers this https://www.hpacademy.com/dashboard/courses/professional-motorsport-wiring-harness-construction

Apologies there's no simple 'buy these pins from this link' solution to this one

I appreciate all the input and its been a big help! I just finished up going down a long rabbit hole of telephone calls and more research, I FOUND IT.

I called Molex directly and they told me that they couldn't identify the pin without any type of part number off of the connector body (which was blank), even with all the measurements I provided. They then told me to call the manufacturer of the gauge for the boat. The brand that is printed on the gauge is Bombardier. I could not find a Bombardier company that supplied boats, which I then found that Bombardier rebranded to BRP shortly after releasing this boat. I called BRP and they referred me to one of their dealers, which they then referred me to a major powersports shop local to me that would have info. After sifting through their information they found that it is a SeaDoo proprietary pin that was contracted through Molex. So that's why its so close but not quite a typical Molex connector and also why there was absolutely no info on it.

Turns out it is a Terminal Pin: 278000223

(Which are going for over $6/per pin!!!)
