Reference material regarding coils/sensors etc

Whats everyones goto for reference material regarding coil/sensor etc wiring connections, about to start a Mazda MPS into an older 323 would like to find information regarding coils and cam/crank sensors

Generally for most wiring logic, the best place to start is with the factory workshop wiring manual. Depending of the vintage of car, you can either find them online on forums etc, or if its a newer car, you can pay a small fee to manufacturers for online access to manufacturer manuals (you can usually pay for an hour, a day, a week etc)
