Rather stupidly I have inserted a filler plug 600300-22 into a connector location within a Deutsch AS010-35PN connector in error. All connector locations are required in this particular junction of the loom - so the filler plug needs to come out.
I have tried to remove it using the appreciate green/white install/removal tool that I use for wired pins - with no joy.
Is there a technique to removing filler plugs that have been inadvertently installed in wrong locations.
Many thanks for any guidance.
It sounds like you've installed the filler plug deep into the connector. Normally they only go in to the seal section, with the large end above the seal, so you can just remove them with small pliers.
If you did put the big end below the terminal lock -- then I would stick the white extraction tool in the location, then use a small pin or safety wire to push the plug back up.
