I have a question guys.

I am working on a remote sensor distribution box for a project to localise 6 sensor connections with one onward connector to the main loom / ECU etc. 3 of the sensors happen to be shielded as such the shield for each is broken out onto a seperate pin as it passes through the sensor AS connector into the connection box.

I will install another shielded cable for each of the 3 sensors from the onward AS connector back into the loom to carry the sensitive signals back to the loom / ECU but my question is can that be just a single core shielded cable for each ? or is it best practice to include the 5v and 0v within the shield as per the actual sensor tail.

Ideally as I have a break out point within the connection box I want to use this location to common up the 5v and 0v with the other 3 sensors that terminate with the box.

Sorry for the long explanation.

Many thanks
