What type of engine will you be building for this course?

I am curious to know if you will be doing the FA20 or 2JZ build for this course. There was mention of a 2JZ build happening, and the 86 was going to be built for higher boost, if I recall correctly..

We will be providing worked examples on both the 2JZ and FA20 in the initial release of the practical engine building course. Beyond this we intend to add to the library of worked examples too. We'd expect to add an LS worked example too as a minimum.

Any rb26 or sr20 builds

We don't have any on our list right now however I've built plenty of both over the years so if you have specific questions then please create a separate thread and I'll be happy to help you out there. Both the RB26 and SR20 have their own peculiarities that need to be considered during the building process.

When will the practical engine building course be available online?

I'm reluctant to put a date on it as I'll inevitably be wrong. What I can say is that we have already started filming and everything is tracking along nicely. The machining of the engine blocks is scheduled for Feb 20-22 and then we need to complete the filming and editing. I'd hope this will have the course complete early-mid March. We will keep you up to date.
