Im trying to figure out the allowable amount the piston can measure above the deck height of my 1JZ-GTE VVTI to ensure my OEM MLS head gasket (1.3mm) will be sufficient
I have CP Carillo pistons that should suit 9:1 compression ratio and 1.338” compression height, Waiting on a deck bridge to arrive but have measured around 0.0055” using a make shift dial indicator setup
What are some thoughts and clearances people suggest?
