Hi All, long time listener, first time caller. I had an incident near a construction site, regarding my ecotec swapped Z32. It ran dry of oil, and the bearings seem to show it. Question is, will the machine shop, or discerning DIYer be able to save this? Some of the bearing material on this particular journal delaminated, but most of the other journals are much better. Thank you!!

It doesn't look like the bearing/journal has run hot, you may have saved it in time, but the crank really needs to be assessed by a competent machine shop that will be able to clean the journals up and regrind them if required - and there is enough material left for available undersizes.
