greetings guy can i have some feedback on these 2 turbos of choice for a motor toyota 2.0 3sgte compression ratio 9.1 stock head and cams 248/246 degrees, valve lift - 8.75/8.2 mm) intended street use to something that is still pretty responsive.... but what could be some trade offs between the 2?
I was researching turbos last week for a SR20DET which is 2L as well. Between the 2, I can say that the G25-550 is a big step in terms of technology improvement (Comp Wheel design, better bearing cartridges). Here's some video I have found that helped me make my choice. The 2nd and 3rd videos are called Garrett vs Borg Warner, but they do state differences between GT, GTX and G series turbos as well.
