Hello,
I have one BMW M52 stroker engine with M57 diesel crankshaft taken apart due to overheating, what was found is quite interesting wear on the main bearings. The engine actually ran quite nicely, crankshaft was also very easy to turn by hand. We've quite different opinions with friends what might cause it, anyone seen such wear before? I have attached the picture.
