Hi!
Has someone have experience, what is the highest voltage smartcoil like (for examble ) Bosch 0 221 604 800 can take in a dragrace application?
Is there any benefit of raising voltage? What are the symptoms, if I have too weak spark?
Methanol turbo dragbike.

I have run those coils to 18V with a 1.35ms dwell. They draw 11A peak current at that dwell and voltage, you could increase the dwell out to 1.5ms before hitting the saturation point of the coil.
