Forums usually have a testing section so users can figure out how to properly compose posts that come off as they should.
I'm trying to figure out if I can embed pictures and videos here. Forums that have survived social media now normally have a 'preview post' feature so one can know if the post has been composed correctly before actually posting.
Pics are hosted on Photobucket, standard forum format:

YouTube URL Bracketed for vBulletin forums (vwVortes/Audi Fourtiude) and others I can't recall:
[VIDEO]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1M83ZCdTyQ[/VIDEO]
So the YouTube URL and the forum-style bracketed embed both produce the same link to the intended video, but not embedding the video like the above pictures. The YouTube HTML code didn't work or translate over to text, just disappeared. It usually doesn't work in forums.
Just some feedback and self education on your forum, which I like is fully integrated into the site. You should have a testing forum section worked in when your web guy gets a chance. Totally great site overall and I'm loving it so far.
