Does anyone have any pointers on a quality IAT sensor?

Have seen the Bosch Motorsport NTC units, but the air temp sensor has an encased tip so I can't see it's response time is quick enough to act as an IAT sensor? What are you guys using?

That particular sensor from Bosch is relatively common for IAT measurement in our sort of applications and the response time in my experience has been fast enough. I've also used the Delphi IAT sensor which has an exposed tip with good results. I can't say I've got enough data to say if one is faster in response to the other. Both are commonly used in aftermarket ECUs for IAT measurement. The Delphi sensor is common in OE applications and specifically is used by GM in multiple vehicles.

Good info, thank you.
