I bought an Einstar Shining 3D scanner. I'm playing around with it to get familiar with how it works. It seems to loose track of my scan quite often. I can get it to pick it back up with a little effort. More of any annoyance than anything. To my question...

Would a faster graphics card make this thing hold better hold the scan track? I have a Nvidia 1080Ti with 11gb VRAM in a box with a 10 core I7

In hindsight I buy the one w/o a cable... and if money available a stand alone version. Also bit annoying it only supports Nvidia as my engineering box is an Intel GPU. Sometime I didn't realize until after purchasing it.
