11.5 afr and retarded ignition and still knocking

I have my own b16b civic type r engine stock engine and am useing lc2 wide band and plex v2 i have retarded the timing to tune the fuel but the car is knocking too much and i have checked spark plugs r good and new bkr7es11 and the fuel is 95 ron is the highest in egypt and am only going for 3 psi of boost and the car is still knocking once the vtec goes on plus the spark plugs has there original 1mm gap not even changed yet i have been told that it could be mechanical issue and am really confused and don't know what to do

Have you confirmed audibly that it is really knock?

Instead of tapping down bkr7es11 plugs you can get bkr7es, which come with a0.8mm gap instead of 1.1mm
